The annual Easter Egg Hunt was held Saturday March 22 in the Dodge City Parks. This event is sponsored by the Sunshine Club. There were about 30-40 kids in attendence. All of them received candy, pop, prizes and money. There was also a drawing for a $50.00 savings bond. That was won by Austin of Beulah.
The Sunshine Club is a non-profit organization that gives cheer up gifts to provide support to people needing a little boost. They are in their 11th year. The founders were 5 women from the surrounding area. Current membership is now at 50-60.
